From the fruit of the Marula tree

From the Marula tree, nature's bounty—ripe fruits that nourish the land and fuel Africa's wildlife.

Amarula is made from the fermented fruit of the Marula tree. The spirit is distilled and fermented in French oak for two years and then blended with cream.

The Marula tree is also know as the King of the African trees. Elephants feast on the branches, leaves and fruit.
